Dates: June 15 - 26 and July 6- July 31 (No sessions the week of June 29th)
Days: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (additional hours may be required for set up)
Hours: 7:45 am - 12:00 pm or 1:00pm - 4:15pm, mandadorty training will be provided by the MISD with training dates to be determined.
Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour
Duties include but are not limited to:

- Teaches district approved curriculum.
- Meets and instructs assigned classes in the location and at the times designated.
- Provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.
- Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of the students.
- Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior to achieve an effective learning atmosphere.
- Provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of the student.
- Creates an environment for learning through functional and attractive displays, interest centers and exhibits of student's work.
- Works with other professional staff on curriculum studies and related committees.
- Reviews email and voicemail communications regularly and responds as needed.
- Maintains regular and reliable in person attendance.
- Maintains confidentiality of records and student matters.
- Conduct oneself in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualification
- Must possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
